How the Night Flows

1. Round 1: 5 regular questions + 2 Bonus questions
2. Round 2: 5 regular questions + 2 Bonus questions
3. Halftime: 2 “Name 3” questions (good time for a break)
4. Round 3: 5 regular questions + 2 Bonus questions
5. Round 4: 5 regular questions + 2 Bonus questions
6. Finale: 2 “Name 3” questions
7. Podium: 3rd place, then 2nd, then the Grand Champion

32 questions in total. The leaderboard appears on the TV every 3 questions.

Scoring

Before the Game

1. Click Load New Games from Drive (only needed once, games are saved after that), then pick a game from the dropdown.
2. Click Open TV Screen and drag that window onto the venue TV.
3. The QR code and PIN stay on the TV all night. Teams can join or rejoin any time.
4. Read the player script above once most teams are in.

Running Each Question

1. Click Start Game (or the next question). It appears on the TV and phones with a countdown (2 minutes by default).
2. Read the question out loud. Click Lock Phones Early if every team is in.
3. When phones lock, check the Grading Queue. Typos and plurals are matched for you; use the dropdowns to confirm anything left over.
4. Click Award Points. Scores go to the phones and the leaderboard.
5. Reveal the board answers one by one on your board for the TV. Build the suspense!

Auto-Run Mode

• Auto-run plays the questions, timers, scoring, and reveals by itself.
• Answers the system can't match are counted as wrong (1 pt). Fix them afterward with Review / Fix (below).
• Use auto-run when you need your hands free. Pause any time.

Fixing Answers (Review / Fix Previous Answers)

• Click the amber Review / Fix Previous Answers button. It opens on the last scored question; use the dropdown to go back further. Tap By Team (Game History) to pick one team and see every answer they gave all game.
• Regular questions: change a team's “Wrong” to the correct board answer (e.g. “Pizzza” → “Pizza”).
• Bonus / Halftime / Finale: tap an answer to switch it between Correct and Wrong.
• Each team shows its new points and the difference before you save. Saving updates their phone and the TV, and the team gets a Corrected lock badge.
• Auto-run pauses while this screen is open and continues when you close it.

If Something Goes Wrong

• A phone dropped or the screen locked: just reopen the page. The team rejoins automatically with its score.
• Host screen refreshed: log back in. The PIN and scoring history are kept.
• TV went blank: click Open TV Screen again.
• RESET wipes the whole game and all scores. Only use it to start a brand new game.
