How to host Pub Quiz Pro: step-by-step
Everything you need to set up and run a Pub Quiz Pro night, from logging in to crowning the winner. No hosting experience needed.
What you need
- A laptop or computer with Google Chrome (Mac or Windows)
- A TV or projector connected by HDMI, Chromecast or AirPlay (any screen works)
- Internet for the venue (players who join by phone use their own data or the Wi-Fi)
- A microphone helps in a loud room
Before the game (about 10 minutes)

Log in
Go to musicbingo.pro/hub.html, enter your host email and password, and open Pub Quiz Pro. Click Help: How to get games for the 30-second cheat sheet.

Get tonight's game
Easiest: click Cloud Import and download a ready-made weekly game (a new one is added every Monday). Want a theme? Click AI Builder, type something like "90s Nostalgia" or "Movies", and it writes a full 60-question game in a couple of minutes. You can also click New Game to type your own questions.

Print a backup (optional)
Click Print Sheets for pen-and-paper answer sheets in case a table has no phone.

Pick the mode
Choose Standard, ⚡ OVERDRIVE MODE (teams duel each other in the speed round) or 👑 Boss Mode (everyone can attack the team in 1st place). Turn on Practice Q for a free warm-up question so everyone learns the buttons.

Open the lobby
Click Host Now, then Open TV and drag that window onto the TV. The TV says "Join the lobby on your phones" and shows the Room PIN; teams type the PIN and their team name.
Running the game

Explain the rules
Open the built-in ROOKIE HOST SURVIVAL GUIDE and read the script on the mic. The quick version: 4 rounds of 15 questions. Questions 1-10 have 30 seconds. Questions 11-14 are the speed round with 15 seconds, double points that drain as the clock runs. Question 15 is the wager, where teams see the category first and bet their own points.

Start
Click START GAME >>. Turn on Auto-Run Engine if you want the timers to advance by themselves.

Grade typed answers
Text questions are auto-graded and forgive small typos. Anything unusual drops into the Grading Queue: click the green check or the red X.

Show the scores
Use Show Round Scores on TV and Show Game Totals on TV between rounds, and Intermission / Start Timer for a drink break.
Winners and scoring

Crown the winner
The final leaderboard shows on the TV. Click SHARE RESULTS to send every team a page with their scores and every answer.
Host tips
- Start on time and keep it moving: a 60-question game runs about 2 hours with breaks.
- Read every question twice on the mic, slowly.
- Hype the speed round and the wager. That is where comebacks happen.
- Announce next week's prize before the final round so teams come back.
Quick fixes
- A team lost connection: they reopen the page and rejoin with the same PIN and team name.
- TV window closed: click Open TV again.
- Only use 🚨 Hard Reset Live Game to start a completely new game. It clears the live scores.
