Open the Host Command Center on any laptop and choose Survey Showdown.

How to host Survey Showdown: step-by-step
Everything you need to set up and run a Survey Showdown night, from logging in to crowning the winner. No hosting experience needed.
What you need
- A laptop or computer with Google Chrome (Mac or Windows)
- A TV or projector connected by HDMI, Chromecast or AirPlay (any screen works)
- Internet for the venue (players who join by phone use their own data or the Wi-Fi)
- A microphone (you are the game show host)
Before the game (about 10 minutes)

Log in
Go to musicbingo.pro/hub.html, enter your host email and password, and open Survey Showdown. Click Manual any time for the full host manual.

Load this week's game
Click Load New Games (only needed once, games are saved after that) and pick a game from the dropdown. New games come from real player surveys every week.

Open the TV
Click OPEN TV SCREEN and drag it to the venue TV. The QR code and Room PIN stay on the TV all night, so teams can join or rejoin any time.

Paper option
Click PRINT PEN & PAPER CARDS if some tables would rather write answers down.
Running the game

Know the flow
32 questions: Rounds 1-4 each have 5 regular questions plus 2 bonus questions, and halftime and the finale each have 2 "name 3" questions. The leaderboard shows on the TV every 3 questions.

Ask a question
Click START GAME >> (then the next question). It appears on the TV and phones with a countdown (2 minutes by default). Read it out loud like a game show host. Click Lock Phones Early once every team has answered.

Score it
When phones lock, check the Grading Queue. Typos and plurals are matched for you; use the dropdowns for anything left over. Then click Award Points. The #1 survey answer scores the most.

Reveal the board
Reveal the survey answers one at a time on the TV, saving the #1 answer for last. Hit STRIKE for the big red X. This is the fun part, so milk it.

Go hands-free (optional)
Turn on Auto-Run and it plays questions, timers, scoring and reveals by itself. Pause any time.
Winners and scoring

Fix a score
Use REVIEW / FIX PREVIOUS ANSWERS to change a team's answer to the right board answer (e.g. "Pizzza" → "Pizza") or flip a bonus answer between correct and wrong. The phone and TV update.

Podium
The finale shows 3rd place, then 2nd, then the Grand Champion.
Host tips
- Play it up like the TV show: "Survey says...!"
- Tell players about the weekly survey (it is on their phones after the game). Their answers become next week's board, which keeps them coming back.
- Advanced Settings lets you change the question time, reveal time, how often the leaderboard shows, and an automatic break.
Quick fixes
- A phone dropped or the screen locked: reopen the page and the team rejoins automatically with its score.
- Host screen refreshed: log back in. The PIN and scores are kept.
- RESET wipes the whole game and all scores. Only use it to start a brand new game.
